Got up early to check out the wildlife down the Meadows this morning,water sure is rising..

Great encounter and glad you had your camera Chris, but isn't that raptor a peregrine falcon ?

I go NOWHERE without it,you're right on the raptor Grant.
It was like two days ago I looked up a raptor that was attacking the redwing blackbirds. I found out it was a Cooper's hawk. I think the peregrine is the fastest animal in all the kingdom. It's said to reach speeds exceeding 200 mpr in a dive.
