Hello,
My father in law and I have finished building our 3 inch dredge. It was a fun winter project. We took it out to the local rock quarry Easter morning and ran it through its paces. It seemed to do well. We ran several pieces of assorted sized lead through it and the sluice seemed to classify it properly and catch it in the areas where it should. The pump is a bit tempermental but it really creates quite a suction. I was surprised. Thanks to the folks here that helped us with ideas along the way. We are excited to put it to work.
