Its good on silver coins but not copper as it will pit your coins

Any coin with diaelectrics like oil from your fingers, can be damaged badly! Just like etching a circuit board, it will leave marks.
 

I found that Arm & Hammer WASHING SODA and aluminum foil
does a fantastic job on coppers......and I mean crusty old 1700
coppers too!

I looked for "washing soda" a while back for another project. I could not find a local store that sold it, where do you get yours? Got more than a few funny looks when I asked about it, they kept offering me backing soda...

Really?Ive never though of trying it on LC.Ive heard how it was done but cant be to sure,can you describe?Would baking soda do also?Thanks.
