Yeah Vince, great post!

Congrats on NOT blowing yourself up, and getting a bunch of police to invade the park!

Very well done sir! Please keep the mayhem going!

Looks like you found some bricks. Hope you didn't trip on them and have to go to the emergency room...
Maybe you have another opinion now!

Unique, and dangerous finds to say the least! I grew up in a small town in TN and there was a POW camp there during WWII. Some of the farmers still plow up old anti-personnel mines to this day. Glad you were not hurt!

So they are plastic explosives containers and the holes are for the detonators.

Cool !

Translation the Best I can Via Google

Found eslosivo of World War II to the Park of Monza
" " There are two bombs in " Park ,
explosives found of World War II "

" The discovery was made by a citizen :
the man gave the alarm to the State Police who spoke with the bomb squad "

" When a citizen of Albanian origin than forty years he started walking
in the Park of Monza with his metal detector in search of some
valuable coin or forgotten did not think to come face to face with
two suitcases of explosives presumably
dating back to the second world War."

" The discovery was made a few days ago when the " seeker " ,
a resident of Nova Milanese , found an unusual presence in
the soil around the pond of Sighs within the Park of Monza .
The man dug and found two suitcases inside with some loaves of explosives .
Before you become really realize what he had in his hands the
forties came home and did a quick search on the web in an effort
to figure out what it could handle . It ' was at that point ,
when he realized that they have to deal with two suitcases of explosives ,
perhaps dating back to World War II , who called 112 and said :
" There are two bombs to the Park of Monza . " "

" On the spot Friday morning were made by the police of the Romagna Avenue police
station who have secured the area and the team of Bomb the police headquarters in Milan.
The staff of the State Police has taken the material that will be blown up .
The two suitcases containing explosives lacked a detonator then the 'bombs'
were not capable of exploding . "

Cool hand, Vince. Your understatement made this thread.

Also, I love "some loaves of explosives;" thanks for the translation, jeff.
