I went to the boat ramp parking area that I have been working. It's close to the house and easy to get to when I'm limited on time. I've been working the nooks and crannies, the areas that I think get overlooked. Like close to power poles, water lines and utility boxes. I have found silver in the past in these places. It's hard to do, because the objects interfere with the signal. Well I get this weird signal close to a phone service box. It's a little deeper than I usually dig but I was determined. Then this little lady pops out. It makes me wonder how she ended up there. There are no marks or lettering on her. Not sure how old she is. I also dug a 1919 wheat about 10 feet from where I found her. I wanted to post this, because it was a little different. Thanks for looking. 20160915_064245.jpg 20160915_070532.jpg 20160915_070537.jpg 20160915_071234.jpg

Nice find. It almost looks like it could be a hood ornament for something. Are there any threads underneath ?

It's is treaded , I think statues are also threaded to mount them. I'm still looking on the net to see if I can find anything on her.

Pretty cool find. Reminds me of some of the old car hood mounts.

Possibly an ornament from a boat? She is a nice find. Congratulations.
