I have been trying to get out for just one more good hunt, but with the temp at 12 degrees as I write this, I think my season is over.:crybaby2:
Over the last couple weeks the only good coins I found were my first war nickel, and a 1899 Indian!

The following items are some of the odd stuff I found over the last four months.

I also totalled up my take and it came to $218.30 not counting the 18 silvers, 13 Indians, 2 V nickels, and 93 wheat pennys I dug.

I`m looking forward to a few days in North Carolina in the spring, my wifes aunt invited us out, so I can`t wait!

Those are great finds and your right about the cold weather in MN. I use to live there and had to go detecting in February one time. Found a guys keys in a snow bank for him. Good luck in the spring.

Yep, it snowed here yesterday....... I will probably keep trying to detect until the ground actually freezes but ...it sucks......

You don't have to stop detecting just because it gets cold outside. How about the sledding hills after it snows? Or the ice skating ponds? or the ski hills? Many spots to check during the cold months.
