Be mindful some of these are ferrous, one of them is partially ferrous.

1. Twist cap aluminum
2. Yahoo cap (ferrous component
3. Purex jug lid
4.Pepsi free cap
5 twist off of something (ferrous component)
6. 12 gauge low brass shotgun hull
7. Aluminum twist cap.
8 Big pull ring (older) rivet is ferrous
9. Pull ring tab whole (stretched out)
10. Pull ring tab whole (tab curled around ring)
11. Old rusty bottle cap (ferrous component)

3. Centerfield rifle 30-06 spent cartridge
4. Section of harmonica reed
5. Ole flat button circa 1800a, very early 1900s

Here is a pic with some ID numbers, used park 2 speed setting 5 Mulit frequency.

1. Half dime worn
2. Seated dime
3. Final generation IH penny
4. War nickel 1944
5. General services button
6. V nickel
7. Silver ring
8. Junk metal locket
9. Pewter ring
10. Bracelet of some sort
11. Spanish bit
12. Buffalo nickel
13. Spanish 2 bit
14. Half dollar.

What does the meter max at? Looks like you'll have to dig everything above a 12-15 to not lose targets. Any minie balls or large cents to test, and was that an air test?

Full range is -9 to + 40.
I will post some numbers on 3 ringers tomorrow some time. Finial, eagle button, etc.

All objects airtested.

Don't forget that CHAIN in saltwater with a target ID of 1 LOL.

Found some of them previously detecting. Did not find great plate, bought it a relic shop to do detector testing with. Some of the junk targets I didn't find detecting.
Didn't find any of them with Equinox 800.

What numbers does iron read?

I myself am not a big believer in air test for anything other than what any given object might " sound" like for whatever machine is used, for depth and numbers? I think going thru a learning curve in the field and digging junk, is a better way of learning any detector, but that's just me.

I assume we will have some dirt tests by Monday posted at the latest. People are now starting to get the machines.
