Equinox Question - Target ID in Pinpoint

What is going on when you hit a solid target ID number, then switch to PP mode and the ID number either goes to two dashes or changes to a totally different number? I've had this happen a few times.

Other than that no issues, been digging clad in china (deep). lol

Well if you are seeing two dashes and a circle with a cross thru it you are in PP mode. as far as the digit reading being different...... ive seen that with a bottle cap. Deep bottle cap may read 10..... PP 15. Also sometimes not being far enough away from the target and you are just catching it off the coil HALO.
