Estate Sale Find Pr. Of Brass Iron Shaped Objects

Hi Everyone! My Uncle found this pair of Brass Iron Shaped Objects at an estate sale in Tulsa, OK. and we can’t figure out what they are. They have handles that fit your hand really good. They look like some kind of clothes irons but they are too rough on the bottom and would snag clothes. There aren’t any markings. Any ideas? Thanks for looking!

looks like lifting lugs or handles that would be brazed to a copper or brass tank or possibly large kettle.

Looks like rope cleats for a boat, screw holes not drilled yet.

it does not have the mass on the flat part to hold heat, or correct handle size or orientation to be an iron
