Nice haul of relics. The round thing looks like a modern little paper cone audio speaker. Could be just the photo though. Check to see if the back round thing is a magnet and you'll know it is.

No magnet KIDDO1979. Am thinking time wise should be in the same Victorian era or close. Here are two more pics. IMG_0966.JPG IMG_0967 (2).JPG

Looks IDENTICAL to a speaker. Is very possible that the magnet has been de-magnetized - maybe even from a lightening strike.

I've taken lots of those apart - it just almost couldn't be anything but!

Yes, nice haul, indeed!!

Haha, I have that same Victor trap, bought it for $2 from a backwoods barn sale when I was a kid. Me and my friend would play with it alot when camping, needless to say our fingers suffered quite a bit :D

How old would it (speaker) be kcm? And to UnderMiner I trapped and hunted as a boy. Although I no longer trap I am still an avid deer hunter to this day. Many of my old traps hang outside on my shed and also in my living room. I especially enjoy finding old traps and shotgun shell heads metal detecting. IMG_0983.JPG IMG_0982.JPG
