Even surgery can't hold back goes4ever...3 indians in the field today
As you all know I had surgery on my right arm dec 28th, and I cannot dig. I swing with my left arm, dig with my right, so I am pretty much out of luck!
My wife told me this morning she knows how bad I wanted to detect and I was going stir crazy, the sun was shining and it was near 50 degrees in Ohio in January!!! She said if we went to a field where no one would bug us, she would dig my signals for me! man, you just can't beat that! It was a blast, first indian of 2012 was a 1865, good start to the year. My wife said she wanted to swing the etrac, cause she wanted to find an old coin. She got a solid 12-24 and I knew what I was thinking.....fatty indian or shotgun shell. Well of course she is lucky, and the very first old coin my wife ever digs in her life is a 1859 fatty indian. You can see the date with a loupe, plus it has no shield on the back, only fatty indian without a shield. It is pretty toasted, but you cannot beat finding a 153 yr old indian for your first old coin....lol
Another 1883 indian came to light plus a nice crotal bell, a brass heart, and several odds and ends. Great day in the field with my wife, having a personal digger is pretty cool, I could get use to that!
Here is a video from today as well:
