I have just not had a minute to breath recently. Our business took over another and I have just not had one minute to go out detecting or even read the forum for almost a month now. Finally today, I was able to get to a new spot. An old house from around 1850. Lots of silver today including two mercs, a 1934 and 1937 and a 1947 Rossie. I even found a silver 1909 wheat pennie. It appears to have been silver plated. Also found a 1906 Indian head and five other wheaties including a 1912 and 1920. Then I got a solid 50 cents signal and pulled up the most beautiful sterling silver spoon. It has a picture on the front of a very tall lady helping what appears to be an old frail man. It is dated 1895 and manufactured by Spaulding & Co. Any help on that would be appreciated. Also found another spoon, a cat barret and a sure shot cap pistol. I have to pack up the detectors this week, my brother and I are going to England in a week to detect with Jimmy Sierra on his tour. Been saving for this for 3 years. I can't wait. Thanks for looking...Lance
