Either way it goes, at least we can make some decisions - this waiting and waiting is not good. Any suggestions on where to get the first news?

UPDATE; There is a continuance thru tomorrow, which means they still have more ground to cover. This info is unofficial from a miner who is there at court.
He thinks maybe three days to thrash it out.

I don't dredge but I sure pray it works out for you all in Cal and maybe it will help in Ore. It is important to all of us and not just miners.

Good Luck and God's Graces!

SIDE NOTE: That utube was forwarded to me by a long time member of one of Nor Cal largest prospecting clubs. He has been sending alerts and information
for nearly two years. The odd thing is practically none of the other club members show any interest in the larger issues - they just want to go on outings and
compare merits of sluices, etc. I think its heroic of this man to keep fighting for the rights of Americans in spite of the general apathy at the recreational club
level. Thank you "Pucky"

For the newbies - this is one of main reasons we should be allowed to dredge:

FINAL UPDATE: Preliminary Injunction denied. Major court date set for May 2014.

What are the options for serious miners? (non-recreational)

1. The smartest option (for cash) is to join the non-profits in their crusade to "get the mercury out" If you can manage to grab hold of their coat-tails by sub-contracting, you will make a very nice living at it for the foreseeable future.

2. Go underground until you get caught.

3. Take up bird-watching.
