I really can’t complain, I’ve only been out 5 times this year and each time I’ve found a cool coin or two; just not a silver one! Today was no different...

I’m really excited about the site where I found these at. I was researching another location when I stumbled across information about a site that saw significant activity from the 1750’s up until around the Civil War. There was 5 inches of snow and the ground was partially frozen, but I was still able to find these; I’m definitely going back in the spring!

I found this V nickel last week, I just built an electrolysis kit and was able to bring back the nickel color. Pitting can’t be fixed, but still, this cleaned up nicely!

Over ten years, I've never found a V nickel. That one looks pretty good.
