Great dug condition, and looks like the upside down "V" for "A" variety. Not much more value, but more neat factor.
 

that is a nice oldie! Seems like coppers are coming up everywhere this week but that is about the oldest I've seen! congrats

I am wondering that my self, I thought it was a sword hilt part? It was suggested it was a curtain tie back. :dontknow:
