I have an Excaliber II rechargeable battery pod. After charging well over 24 hours it only registers 9.5 volts. Is it junk?

Charger is fine. Works with another pod.

It should charge up to about 14 1/2 volts so if it's charging the other battery ok then the pod is suspect.

Sounds like battery is bad. FYI, the max charge time for stock excal charger is 16 hours, If you have been charging for 24 hours you have been over charging battery and that can ruin a battery over time.
