Hey everyone. I am an ACE 250 user that would love to have a Minelab. ::) Who wouldn't right? lol Any ways, I would love to have an E track for land and an Excalibur for water. The problem is the cash thing. I am saving for one and am leaning towards the Excal. It says land beach and water. Has anyone out there used the Excalibur for extended ground hunting? I am wondering what kind of performance to expect at schools, playgrounds, and homesteads. I have read a ton on how great it is in the water but am hoping I do not have to buy 2 machines to cover both water and land. Please send me lots of feedback everyone. -Thanks MM

I have used my Excal numerous times land hunting and it is at home in the water or on the dirt. It is a heavy machine to swing on land, more so than in the water. A straight shaft helps that situation. The Excal goes deep, and if you are going to buy one machine, buy the Excal. PM me if you need details on equipment, straight shaft, settings, etc.
