Relic Hunting
Warren McGrath of Garrett Australia and Reece Muru of New Zealand visited the US to film some civil war relics and later film some gold hunting in California for their show NQ Explorers. Also hunting with us was Steve Moore of Garrett USA and one of my hunting partners Sham Bonner. We took them to our Artillery Hill site to use the Garrett ATX machines. We chose this site because it is extremely hot due to the old red bricks from a college that used to sit here. This college actually burned down in the late 1850's and when the war broke out the Confederates put a cannon battery on the site to protect the bridge below. After the first of many attacks here the Union finally took the hill and placed their cannon battery here. This ground is much hotter than Culpeper due to the bricks. VLF machines will not work at all here so it is an excellent place to hunt with pulse machines. This video was professionally put together and includes some history of the area and old photos. I hope that y'all enjoy it.
