My Explorer XS Headset jack finally gave up and stopped working. Of course being a bit old, might be expected and the fact that previous owner may not have taken care of. The jack could possibly be replaced but being that I don't have a shop to work on it any long and being about 17 years old, not sure that I want to put a lot of dollars into it. It is located at thee back of the unit next to the opening for the battery pack and I would have to split the shaft housing apart to get to it to even try to replace it. Anyone ever had to do this or have another remedy for this? Open to ideas as i would still like to use the unit and a headset with it.

Thanks!
