F-75's First Coin Hunt

I'm primarily a relic hunter. I've found a few IHs, wheats, and a couple of V nickles at some of my sites but no silver. Today however, I got my work done early, strapped the detector to the bike(there's more than one way to enjoy the weather) and decided to see how the F-75 that Santa brought me would perform at a park. My goal for today was silver. I only had a couple of hours to hunt but I reached my goal.




Here's the clad, copper and zinc for the day.

Nope, No D. I'll pulled it out of the hole face up. My blood pressure rose a little when I saw the date.

Gosh, it almost looks like it was carried around since 1916!
It has character, for sure.

Were you riding a DKW motorcycle?

Very nice! I too got out to a park today, and found my first Merc of the year!
