Today I spent 5 hours (& Dad did less than 1) on the field that failed most of the Winter Beans, so they just put in some Spring ones, in the dead areas. The farmer said we can detect it to help keep the crows off.
I had a great result;

1 Scrappy
1 poor 17th C Token
1/2 A Pilgrims Lead Ampulla
18th C Silver Cuff Links (I think its my first complete example):thumbsup:
1922 Sixpence
James I 1603-4 Irish Sixpence (A rare find for us):icon_thumright:
Henry II Penny (Another rare coin to get):icon_thumright:
Mystery Hammered - Cool looking! (Looks kind of Crusader, it may become my Avatar):thumbsup:

Is that coin pressed into the US Memorial or laying on top to show size?
Heck of a find on the whole bunch.

Laying on top, so the What Is It researchers, can see size.

Common stuff to you guys across the pond. But fantastic stuff to me.
Congrats

I wouldn't say those hammered are common finds;
Only had 1 James I Irish Sixpence & 2 Henry II Short-cross Pennies
The mystery one is a first!
