This evening myself and a number of Shriners in Nashville went to the Wilson County Fair. It doesn't open until tomorrow but they open a limited number of rides for special needs children in Wilson County, Tennessee prior to the official opening. Thought I'd share a few photos.
This shows the kids with their parents waiting to be turned loose:
The second picture shows one of the kids getting special attention from some Shrine Clowns:
The third is one of the "kiddie" roller coaster showing that everybody gets to ride:
And then there's this Shriner that obviously was not tall enough to get on the rides:
And the smile on this little girl makes it all worthwhile for us to get out in 100+ degree heat (It was 105 at 4 PM when we arrived at the Fair) to do all we can to make sure the kids have a great time!
