Of course I am referring to the old Black Sabbath song...which IMMEDIATELY ran through my head whilst pulling this gem out of the ground. Yet another, "On the way back to the truck" story, I was swinging the coil alongside a sidewalk headed back to the parking lot of one of our local parks. I got a bouncy 83-85 VDI on the ATPro and was hoping for something silver. I first excavated the big, heavy brass "I Believe In Fairies" pendant and thought that was it. But it had a chain attached that just kept coming out of the plug. When I finally got the end of the chain out, I noticed it had two more pendants attached, one a brass Eiffel Tower, and the other a nice sterling silver "crown." My first silver of the month, yay! :headbang: Up to that point I had only dug about $3.00 in clad on a cold afternoon. Not much but made me grin.

Happy Hunting to all, thanks for looking. Sub 8-)

I wouldn't wear that at the local biker bar, just saying...:tongue3: Looks like something Elton John may have worn.

The Eiffel Tower charm is very neat with the tragedy that happened in Paris. Congrats Sub on the silver!

OD, I absolutely agree, it was a timely find. Now sadly I must find one to honor our fellow Americans in San Bernardino...

Whadi, I have enjoyed reading your "OTWBTTC" stories and in my mind, it ain't over till its over, i.e., don't turn off the machine until your car reads 100 on the VDI...Sub :laughing7:

I am very glad you find some enjoyment in them!
So, here's a variation on the technique. Try it out some time.

When you start the day, walk backwards from the car for a bit, whilst swinging. Sometimes it fools the MD-powers into thinking you're
OTWBTTC. ;) LOL

Hilarious! That way, you dig the "Find of the day" right off of the bat, and can go home minus the exhaustion and frustration! Hah!
