Fake or Real SC butttons

Well,I logged onto Ebay saw thse buttons listed with less than 20 minutes and no bidders.
I had to take a chance so 19.95 bid and now waitinf for the Mailman.
Logic tells Me that English buttons w/ philadelphia importer would have to mean Pre_war as later bttons would be waterbury made.
But could also be 1960s import to celebrate 100th anniversary,Any thoughts On these?

The backmark appears to be "Wm. C. ROWLAND • PHILA •" If so, McGuinn & Bazelon identify him as a miltiary dealer of the early 1900's. Bob Edmondson recently listed a South Carolina coat button with this backmark at $8.
