G'day from sunny Northern Calif.

I was checking some rocks the other day and the MD-20 started sounding off in a different way, I could not stop the noise at all unless it was switched off.

I played engineer with it for a half hour, changed the batteries,......... same thing. I thought that a potentiometer had busted itself.
It was only 2 years old.

I E-Mailed the Falcon office, adding graphic images.

The next day I got a call from Wally DeSchon, at Falcon. He and I conversed for a bit and going over the settings etc ... the cable connection may have been the culprit, as when I pried the grounding prongs out a bit the machine acted properly again.
The MD-20 will find gold that you can hardly see... . The service that Wally did by that phone call shows that he cares about his customers and was quite thorough , but friendly............ A good bloke to work with, Wally..../// Right there, alongside Whites in Eugene Oregon, Good people...........

Thanks for sharing your experience. Fantastic when a vendor actually calls back to help resolve a problem!
