Yep,that is from a set of Ring suspenders,and one of the coolest I have seen!Screams 1870's!!!

Both of these as well as a Denver Tram button, which was posted earlier, all had been under water ( no antique store ) and found in black mud. Also found a pair of handcuffs. Thanks for the ID information.
