These three are real sleepers, never popular but I liked them:

Cheat the Devil, Humphrey Bogart. Total box office flop, weird dry humor.

Putney Swope. Perhaps you've seen The Groove Tube. I think that concept was the white man's rip-off of the small distribution black film, Putney Swope, which came out one or two years earlier. Only saw it once, when it first came out. Very, very weird. LMAO

Harold and Maude, Ruth Gordon.

Ok gang
Here is some of mine.

"Black Robe"(1991)
I haven't seen this one in about 10 years. It is about a Jesuit priest sent to live amongst the natives in 1634.(It gives the date and location at the beginning of the movie)Set in Canada. Really surprised me as i had never heard of it before it appeared on cable.

"Smoke Signals"(1998)
Set in modern times. Two young Native American boys from Idaho take a roadtrip to Arizona to pick up ones father's ashes.
Features Adam Beach from "Windtalkers"and Evan Adams.
You will notice a few other Native American actors in the film.

"Last of the Mohicans"(1992)
Great action and adventure movie set in 1757 during the French and Indian Wars. Magua( played by Wes Studi) is awesome. Russel Means (plays Daniel Day Lewis father)also gives a great performance. Great scenery.

Take care gang,

If you want to see a real campy movie, watch Johnny Guitar starring Mercedes McCambridge and Joan Crawford, with Sterling Hayden as Johnny Guitar. What a hoot! Two women slinging guns and fighting over the guitar player. Enough bad acting to last a lifetime. LOL

I've got The wizard of OZ dubbed to Dark side of the moon on video, LOL! What a riot!

It does sync up, but I imagine it'd sync up even better for some people. :D

The tornado scene goes along pretty well with "The great gig in the sky" and just as she opens the door to OZ and it turns to color, "Money" comes on. :)

Oly: You want some help with that beer, kid?
Otto: You're all repo men.
Oly: What if we are?
[Otto pours his entire beer on the floor]
Bud: [standing up] You know, kid, uh, usually when when someone pulls stuff like that, my first reaction is, I wanna punch his friggin' lights out. But you know something?
Bud and Oly: YOU'RE ALL RIGHT.

Any Monty Python Movie (these guys were extremely intelligent if you read into their comedy)

Band of Brothers.....great leadership lessons in there.

Any Charlie Chaplin film

I'm a movie guy and can rattle off a zillion that I really like.
