not sure I should admit to this, but my parents have a copy of this album with their personal signatures when I was young. It too is downstairs in my collection. :dontknow: I think they were touring with Ernest Tubb and the Troubadours.

Parents met him while on tour. Went to a show and my baby sister got lost. Later a man comes over the p.a. and asks for my parents to report to Ernest's tour bus. We walked up and Ernest Tubb was standing there holding my baby sister in his arms. They stayed in touch via mail.

You posted a lot! It took me 3 days to get through them all! Thank you! Some of them I haven’t heard for years. A couple I haven’t heard at all.

Your parents sure did meet meet a lot of musicians. I’m glad it worked out well with your sister. That would have been so scary!

I used to watch the Doris Day movies with my dad. And beach blanket bingo.
I will try to post some more songs if my kindle gets charged. I can’t seem to get it with my phone.
