Well it wasn't too long a drive so hit the lead field again to see how much would turn up. Its a bit of a mystery to me why it is there. Does the lead in this picture look like a spill that would occur when making bullets? Or maybe someone was refining lead? Thanks for looking and happy hunts !CARM

There was oil wells and oil exploration in the area in the 1930s. Would oilfield work leave lead like that?
