Update on buttons:

So, with just a lil free time, where might I try for something older? The mansion? Nah, I can do that anytime.
The farmer will be putting in crops before too long. So, I'll just stroll around the cornfield.

Didn't care what I found. Just wanted to have a nice walk and have the possibility. Been a long
winter, ya know?

Didn't find much but I don't know when I've enjoyed a walk as much.

These "musket balls", are they modern day, black powder ammo? How can I tell?

2015 (123).jpg

That's a piece of porcelain there. Lots of this stuff laying around.

I'd say these satisfy my desire for something old. :)

I think it says Warranted Treble Plated

Nice day, fair finds, no snow. Good day! :)

Amen!!

Waters 41! Another couple months, WHATIFIND will be a Gold Digging Pirate!!

Yeah, it's getting close to time. But, I'm afraid you don't know me too well, yet.

Water? Yeah. Gold? Probably.

But, Pirate? I'm afraid not, I simply never have and never will qualify. They won't even
let a soft hearted bloke like meself into their union! Oh, I'll hunt but I just won't react like
what most people think of as a "pirate". ;)

Still, that said, lookin' forward to it! :)

You have the best attitude about detecting of anyone on Tnet WAF. Just enjoy the day is your motto but you continually dig something good. WTG, Q.

This lil one had a bit of a surprise after cleaning. Who knew there
would be any gilt under all that!?!? LOL

I think it reads "TREBLE" - upper left

There's a letter "M" just before that.

The bottom has "J , D" and a "U" after that.

Anyone's guess is better than mine. But kinda neat eh?

Great finds ! Do the musket balls have a seam and flat spot on them ? Old musket balls where hand poured in a two part mold (pliers type) pre 19th century which gave them a seam.
The flat spot is from a nub formed from the pouring part, they would snip that part off creating a flat spot on the musket ball.

I don't see any seams but one or two have a flat spot. :dontknow:
