Too bad no detecting allowed.

I'd certainly prefer things to be recovered and even in private possession than allowed to decompose by govt edict

Great post I love the history I read it all too! The pics are are great too. I agree I sometimes wish things could be put even in private possesion rather than rot away in the ground but I also understand to many bad detectorist have torn up things ruins it for everyone else. Just Thank-You for sharing your day :icon_sunny:

nice pictures don this weekend (labor day ) will be my units reenactment we are having it at------ museum village in Monroe NY My unit is the 8th battalion of NC 23 reg i play a doctor with rank of captain
I had to pass a exam on my speciality to become certified lecturer.

looking forward to it all as most of my gear is authentic 1800 tools of the trade . hope to have pictures posted with the event
