Few days after my first gold and

A few days ago I finally pulled my first gold ring, as that's what I been mainly focusing on at parks and whatnot. I had a few spots I wanted to check on so thorough was not my game plan I only had alil over four hours. Hit the first spot and within the first five min, out pops what I thought was a small gold charm. I threw it in my pill bottle for safe keeping. About 15 min later out pops this gorgeous ring looked like opal to me and two small diamonds. I like to c smaller diamonds better chance of being real. So I thought sweet gotta b 14k maybe 18k. Didn't even look put in the bottle and kept going. This place is huge I spent close to two hours there. Moved to some foundations which didn't produce like I thought. I managed to pull the nice bullet and a 1918d wheat which was the only coin. Iron was all u could hear I tried to unmask but didn't help me this time. Only way to hunt that place logically would b to sift it but I don't think it would produce for me to haul my sifter all the way in the woods.




Get home and the ring isn't even solid gold I would think its plated but it's not marked anything. Was kinda bummed haha I shoulda just looked like any normal person. Oh well on the right track.
