I keep coming back and looking at these. All nice, but I love the sky in the first one. As usual, you did a great job composing and capturing the moment.

Well you weren't the only out in the heatwave just west of the Rocky's. I went to a place in Utah called Bonanza around the same longitude and a few latitudes to the north of were you where. It was maybe around noon and already upwards towards the 100 mark out in the a vast land of nothing. Good thing is I do believe I've got the issue of my truck just up and shutting down solved. So much so that I felt I could venture out in this place. Not to worry as I always keep enough water and Costco snacks for around three days if something goes wrong in a place like this.

Well I was just intending on taking a picture of the lake and when I hit the shutter these two Ravens went in for a photo bomb on me. I'd say 50% of the Ravens in the region I travel know who I am. I tried to get a few shots of them doing barrel rolls for me. It's awesome how well mastered flyer they really are.
