Nothing super exciting today but better than getting skunked. Found a 1930s play money coin that came with a packet of gum, a 1961 Lincoln penny, a 1935 D wheat penny that is toasted, a old lead bullet, two neat buttons I've found multiple of each of them the wreath looking one I've found 3 so far around, and the other one this is my second, and lastly some sort of brass container lid. Again nothing exciting but better than nothing. mir_20210411_205826.jpg mir_20210411_205844.jpg mir_20210411_205738.jpg mir_20210411_205620.jpg mir_20210411_205804.jpg mir_20210411_205546.jpg mir_20210411_205647.jpg mir_20210411_205901.jpg mir_20210411_205920.jpg

Last one reminds me of a gunpowder can. Gary

I think it is different. The top is more oblong. But definitely had powder of some sort in it as the top is shaker style. So could technically though still be gun powder though.

Great hunt and recoveries.
I'm always happy to find something older than myself...
Play money is welcome. Metal play money even more...

Might be a talc can lid and top you found.

Congrats on the outing!
