Picked up both items for $5 even though i have no clue about them, any help would be appreciated.

The first is silver powder from crayola which is actually a mess, but what would it be used for? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1426972320.429559.jpg

The other is some roman gold all in original packaging, i think its used for touching up items? Im not sure. From the patent dates on the paperwork inside its at least 100 years old. Anyway figured what the hay for $5. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1426972497.362213.jpg

Interesting finds. The Hasburg's Phoenix Roman Gold is paint most often used for painting the fine gold detailing on china. I found an old advertisement on the bottom left of this page. I suspect the silver powder may be mixed with water for a similar application, but I'm not sure.

Maybe you can find more info out there on the web to tell what it is for sure. I would be hesitant to open it as well.

The Crayola powder was probably used as a coloring agent for their crayons. Cool find...wonder what the market for these would be?
