Hi all-- Sunday, despite the crummy weather early, I headed over to one of my field sites for iron removal and more gridding. I was rewarded with a decent fatty IH, my first. I was surprised when it popped out since it had rung a low tone. (Didn't realize yet it was a fatty.) Also dug clock pieces, an umbrella part, broken child's teacup, and a decorative round item. :dontknow: An ax and maul head.

Not happy about the snow during the first part of the hunt. :protest:

HH and thanks for looking,
Michiganne
p.s. Decorative round piece was ID'd in the What is It forum as the saucer to a child's pewter tea set. :occasion14:

Nice score on that Fatty there Anne!! :hello2: I have only found one and also thought I was digging junk or possibly a nickel. Nice surprise!! Cool relics and decorative piece as well.

nice finds
however what is a (fatty IHP )?
thanks HH

Congrats on the penny. I have yet to dig one of those, I did get one at the gas stations need a penny bowl. I also think you helped me identify a relic that has puzzled me for years. Tell me, is your saucer somewhat soft and flexible for being metal? I found a round metal odject with ornate decorations sometime back. I'll try and get a pic to show you.
Keep em' coming sister.

Yes that '64 IH is a nice one Anne, you hit the jackpot :headbang: and those glass cork tops always make my heart skip a beat! Congrats on all the neat finds and relics!

WTG Anne! Nice field digs! Hope you find more out there.

Great finds, love the Indian. HH

Love the Indian and the saucer! Those fatty's are hard to find with most machines. I'll bet there's another one there somewhere!

Congrats on finding the 'fatty' and the child's pewter tea saucer Anne! :occasion14:
I love hunting farm fields too, I find them very peaceful.
