I went out to a field I hit this past week while working but it’s was almost dark so I didn’t get much time to hunt. Did pretty decent today the plow really has taken its toll on the points but every once in a while a few nice intact points pop up. This first one was a real shocker in prob 15 years of picking thru this field I have only ever found maybe 5 points that weren’t a type of quartz. This one I believe is flint but not 100% it has a really cool white vein running thru it that is translucent thru the entire point when held up to light it shines thru.

This one is prob my favorite for the day .... it’s not missing a single chip out of it which is unreal

Not a bad day considering conditions I was expecting all the snow to be melted but not the case it made things interesting

White points on snowy ground-you did good.
Thanks , The snow finally started to melt away slowly after a few hours but by that time I was exhausted .... walking around with an extra 5 pounds of mud on each boot had me wore out

Great finds! Was out field hunting in the mud about a month ago and my boots sank so deep that when I pulled my foot up, it came out of my boot (twice) and was there in the middle of the field---stuck, standing on one leg. It was a funny sight right in front of a row of houses. Hope it doesn't show up on youtube.

Maybe next time you can take a flashlight cause that field looks loaded. Fields here are all no til now and even when they disc them it only moves maybe 3 inches of dirt and mostly broken ones appear. Lets hear about the round cobble that looks like a grinder or pounder. From what I can see it looks like a nice example and that black knife/point looks like a cool find to. You did real good Im still waiting on a hunt like that its been a while like years since I have found that many in 1 trip. Rain is killing me this year everything is flooded again, good god

You are finding some great stuff over there on the eastern shore! The material that first point is made of appears to be the same as a knife blade I saw a few summers ago. I was at Flag Ponds, Md. with my kids fossil hunting when I asked a guy if he'd had any luck. He said he found a few small shark teeth but had just found this stone blade. I was nearly floored! It had the most beautiful translucent yellow quartz veins running throughout.
