I detected the big surrounding area of the colonial site I found. Most of the area was pretty quiet for signals but I did find a button, 4 more large coppers and a old decorative watch fob that has a crest and “Halifax” on it plus some other writing. Thanks for looking and I’m going to leave that area alone until early spring when the few long grass spots I could’ve do flatten out. The spot treated me very well this past week with 19 large coppers and maybe someday a old silver will pop outta that grass! [emoji16][emoji106]

Wow Kiddo, 19 large coppers! Impressive! With that much coinage in the ground, you'd think there would be some silver lurking. But then again, I bet there is, and you'll find it this fall. Congrats on a lot of great saves, Ddf.
