My trip to Dirtyvillewas great!! IRON PATCH certainly did find that virgin field as the finds were plentyfull and the coins are old!
Heres a group shot of my finds
Up first is an 1815 token, shes bend but I'll take it!
Heres an 1857 token
Cut coin, times were either hard or stuff was cheap to buy lol
MY first cartwheel coin(1797) and it had to be cut!
Knew I had an IH when I first looked at it but didnt know that it was what they call a fatty,a first for me !!
Dang it someone made a washer with this one, 1818 as far as I can see
This one Iam not sure what it is,all I see is a shadow of a bust was glad to dig it anyways.
Here are some bullets, crudely made if anyone can ID them ,it would be appreciated
Dug this whatsit at I think it may be part of a suspender buckle, any ideas??
Was told by it may be a merchant marine button ,circa WW1
THis one is a farthing 1799-18 something, its in bad condition but what the hay!
NOw the best of my hunt
French bale seal!!! Looks like 1755,if so it coinsides with the great Acadian deportation. Its my first french seal and Iam very proud of it!
To add to my exciting find is a 175? French 1 Sol coin!! Its also a first for me.
Well folks I had a blast hunting really old sites! I logged in 1400 km and enjoyed every minute of my adventure!!
