Took advantage of another uncharacteristically warm winter day. Spent time working the fringes of an old park. Results seemed kind of meh. Only a couple of wheatbacks for the keeper pouch. But once I got a good look, a welcome surprise!

A 1909-V.D.B. reverse. I have found quite a few 1909s over the years, but this is the first I have dug a 1909-V.D.B. :headbang: One more hole in the penny folder filled! Now let's go find that 1909-S V.D.B.!

Well....you COULD take a 1909 S and your 1909 VDB, and display them together, kind of like a 1909 SVDB....just saying...why not, you found them. I don't know, just one of my random thoughts.

He didn't find a 1909-S. He has found a few 1909 one cent coins.
Any 1909 with an S is a super rare coin.
