Went to the beach and found this. It's stamped 925 so at least it's silver but I would guess the diamonds are fake, since there in silver. Who would put diamonds in silver; right? Anyway I only found this after about seventy hours of detecting. If I had not found this I would still be detecting. I vowed to go until I found something good.

I dug silver ring similar to yours. Marked .925 & from Thailand. Web research showed this style silver ring may have either real or imitation diamonds. Since the stones are so small, mine with 13 stones is worth $35 if imitation stones and only $75 if real diamonds. I didn't bother to have mine checked but I wear it often, a lovely reminder that I dug it after digging 8 rusty nails in that same small area -- good stuff seems often to be nestled among the crud, lol. HAVE FUN! Andi

Don't rule out real diamonds. Get it tested. I found several pieces of sterling this summer with real diamonds. With the gold prices increasing I've seen alot more sterling with diamonds. True, it didn't used to be that way and I was initially surprised myself to start seeing it.

Diamonds are no big deal - until they are ! when they are less than half a carat nobody cares - so the diamond in your silver ring may well
be genuine .

Ok good thought. My mom just told me some people are allergic to gold and will have diamonds set in silver

Thanks for your comment
