As I mentioned in an earlier post, I searched this box by hand. This will be the last box I search by hand. I will either purchase a Ryedale machine or quit pennies entirely. Here is how the box broke down. There were two wheats in the box. A '46 and a '42. Not counting the 82s (since I don't have a machine or scales), I found 555 coppers. Since I have never searched pennies before, I don't really know if this was a good box or not. I do know that pennies are a lot more work and if I am going to keep searching them, I am going to have to get some help.

I have been averaging exactly 9.40 wheats per box of pennies searched. I never really started sorting out wheats until my latest box and i got 642 in that box. Hope those numbers help.
