I've been detecting an old house and I've been finding some awesome relics, but this is the one thing that has been hiding from me. Finally I found one! It's a very common one I'm sure but I think it's still really cool. It's a Palmolive token! Don't laugh okay? On the obverse it says "Good for one cake Crystal Cocoa Soap free when you buy one cake Palmolive soap". On the reverse it says "To Dealers This check will be redeemed at your retail price and only when the conditions on the reverse side have been complied with. The Palmolive-Peet Co. Chicago P-1012" Thanks for looking!

Thanks ya'll for the kind replies. I never know what I'm going to find at this place, but I probably won't be able to hit it much longer cuz with summer coming on (actually it feels like it's already here, 90 degrees today) all the vegetation grows like gang busters! Hopefully I'll still have access to it when winter rolls around again. I'll still be able to hit it a few more times though so maybe I'll find that elusive $5 gold piece, lol. Gotta think big, right?

Hey Rob! You still hitting the shark pit??

I watched Mastereagle dig one of those last year and do the happy dance. :tard:

Damn my eyes......I agree though, that is a great find. I have one of those on my bucket list of finds I want. Very cool.

Thanks again for all the great replies!

Blaze: I'm not sure when it was used, I have to do more research.

Nana: Hopefully I've gotten over finding all those nails! Now I've moved up to bullets! Yaaaay!
