This is my first silver find which is an 1858 Seated Liberty Dime, NO FOOLING. I found this late last July three weeks into the hobby in my own back yard and this is what totally hooked me...This is my favorite coin because it totally blew me away. I had no idea what it was (other than a dime) when I pulled it. I've been told that it's in AU condition(by fellow dirtfishers) and that's great (if so) but in any grade, I'm thrilled that it was my first silver. Thank you for looking and epic hunts for everyone!

You're probably gonna find more silver coins but I doubt if you'll ever get one in nicer condition that, that's a real beauty, Congrats

Thanks everyone! :icon_biggrin: For the record, my yard is mostly fill so that could explain how that dime and a 63' fattie IH came out of it. On the other hand, (and according to local sources)...My street was a pig/livestock farm in the mid 1800's and that's when the field stone wall was built ( by Irish immigrants). Here's a HUGE harness buckle I pulled in my neighbor's yard...
