Finally Got A Boy Scout Ring

I was off of work last Thursday and Friday, so Smittyman and I spent some time treasure hunting. I was able to slip out over the weekend with the likes of Kurt Stuben and Todd Lipe. The following are the finds from the four days of hunting.

- Sterling Boy Scout Ring. My favorite find of the lot.
- 925 girls ring. Lawnmower got to it.
- Basket weave style junk ring. Man it looked awesome coming out of the ground, but alas...
- Marble.
- 1955 Hotpoint spinner token with hole drilled in it. Third from the same area, must have been Hotpoint salesman's house.
- Corbin Cabinet Lock plate. Unsure of exactly what this is... I think that it is a name plate, but it is cupped like a spoon bowl. Ideas?
- 1941 and 1943 Mercury dimes. I got a pic of one peeking out of a dirt clod... just a little silver sliver showing
- Token from local lumber company.
- Harmonium reed.
- 9 Wheaties.

YTD silver coins: 69.

I thought you'd hocked your Deus for gas money to get back up north! I have only found a couple neckerchief slides as far as scout memorabilia goes. Great hunts. Those buddies must be good luck for you. I think I'd keep them close Tom!

Nice variety of finds! Some really great rings you found, but the Boy Scout one takes the cake. I found an old Girl Scouts ring and it's one of my favorites. Congrats on a successful day!
