Hello Tnetters, work has been crazy, but I finally got back to the swimming pond I have been searching. The sides are even steeper this time out, but I found a brass box, 3 more silver rings, a tungsten ring, a brass ring, a guardian angel medallion, one of those big jeweled ear plugs the kids wear these days, and a small silver pendant with a malachite heart. Also some clad coins, a lot of fishing lead sinkers, pull tabs, beer cans etc. So far from this site I have pulled out 1 18K gold ring, 8 silver rings, 2 heavy silver chains, 2 junk rings, and a lot of modern coins. Thanks for looking. Niffler

Howdy niffler,
That is quite a MDing site and those are some great finds! I noticed you have what looks like a small coil on the XLT, is that the 650 or the snooper? I ask as I have an XLT with three coils (950, 650 & snooper) and I've little experience with the system. Time to learn the machine & coils just has not been in my favor. If you could share what sort of settings do you use with what coil? Thanks in advance of your PM and good luck with your continued finds as I'd guess there are lots more rings there.

Nice finds!
Looks like you really had to work for them, but it's obviously paying off. I've been wanting to hit the water for a long time and have my eyes on a used Tiger Shark right now and hopefully nobody else does ;D
Have fun!
Mike
