Finally "heard" it.

I was at a bank on a road trip when i "heard" that noise at the teller window. A lady was trading in some coins when i heard that distinctive sound. I "casually" walked over and offered to buy them all. The teller had me wait and let me have some when she was done but told me she really saves them for another customer. Sorry no pics or amounts but i dont wanna give big brother a paper trail.

Not to be rude..... But why bother posting if your worried about "Big Brother" Your story pisses me off because it's meaningless without even a clue as to what you found?

How about a least a clue as to weather you got Halves, Quarters or Dimes in your score..... And I'm assuming it's a score since you neglected to give us a clue!

There two things that you can do to avoid BB and post freely.
1. Dig a hole in the ground and stick your head in
2. Don't get your wool sheared and BB will never be able to pick you out of the crowd.

I'm wondering how it would be possible to hear anything at the bank with your head up in that position

B.B owns US all now that we are in a full blown Socialist paradise, we have seen nuthin & few of US have even imagined what is coming in the days ahead- understand they plan a VAT consumption tax, have heard it is %17 in England. Obama even got himself an internal security force in the Jobs bill too that parallels Hitler's Youth Core that was closely tied to the Guestapo. Have seen where Boy Scouts are already getting Homeland inSecurity training too.

Yeah, cause like nothing could ever happen to us. I mean when i hear a tree falling in the woods at my local fishing hole i dont even bother to look up or run cause this is america. Land of the no longer to be held accountable and home of the government protected.

I'm with Obediah here. Everything he states is true. Yes, folks, be prepared for a national sales tax to pay for health care "reform." In the United Kingdom, the national sales tax is called a value added tax, or VAT. And Obediah's correct - VAT in the UK is about 18%, and this has been the case for over thirty years. Obama and his Democrat cohorts are transforming America. I doubt if many of you will like the results of their handiwork.

1. You gents may be right, maybe the sky isnt falling and BB doesnt care what we do. I sure hope your right.

2. Through out history tho BB has watched and the sky has fallen in certain areas and times.

3. Important to understand tho is before the sky fell was that some people noticed certain things were happening , all the while most thinking it wasnt gonna happen to them.

Sorry to start another BB debate but i really thought it was kool to finally hear silver. Even kooler is when a teller who thinks they know how to hear silver bounces a 40% [my guess is they know 64 and below make a certain noise] and still give me the coin.

VAT tax is a socialists dream tax too as it taxes consumption- so it would tax the begebbers out of the middle class and the affluent, it would slow down the economy in my mind as many would just not spend when they had to pay so much in consumption taxes. Do not think VAT hurts the poor really. I'd just grow more of my own food and do for self as much as can include barter.

Note...this tax is in addition to the income tax...so yes they will still hunt you down.
