Finally! I Didn't Dig A Silver Coin Today
I didn't have to, a 1942 Mercury dime was sticking partially out of the ground. I got a nice 75/76 VDI reading on my F75 which usually means a silver dime. It was on the edge of a hill near where a depression was left from a long gone tree. I'll take it!
After finishing up there I went to another place to look for a gold ring but I didn't have any luck so I headed for home.
This was my 48th hunt for the year and my silver coin total for the year now stands at 144. All done without getting skunked on a single hunt.
My F75DST detector settings: 9.0, Sensitivity 85, DE Mode, 3H Tones, Disc Level 5, GB 63.
