Hello all! I got out for about 5 hours today with a couple of buddies. We hunted an old university in SC that my buddy has permission to hunt. (and it has been pounded). The signals are few & far between, tough hunting. One of the guys said he got a good half dollar signal but under the concrete. (Wasn't anything) I was then saying "I've never found a half dollar before". I then crossed the street and within a minute I got a good signal on the curb strip. I got it out of the hole, BAM my first half! I've found some good coins but never a half. Glad I get to check this one off the list! My only other finds were a 1919 wheatie & 3 tree tags (not sure of the age). It was good to get out, find some silver & hang out with some friends. Thanks for looking & HH!

Great find Josh! I'm glad you fnally took that off your list. I have all but ignored that strip thinking it was pounded and nothing left.

This was about a block from the curb where JimDon and I found Walking liberties on the last club hunt.

You and Bert skunked me Saturday. Didn't even get a wheaty. But Miss. State won the opening game in the College World Series that afternoon, and that eased my pain!
