Finally on the board. Need Help with ID

I was out today swinging and got this quarter signal and would never imagine finding this in NE Ohio.
I think it is a 1861 Queen Victoria Young Bun Head One Penny.
There are so many varieties of these 1861 Pennies.
Is this the proper name?
Can anyone ID this and point me in the right direction?


How can I clean this without losing details?

Cleaning up I see the D at the end of BRITT:REG:F: And on the other side, the Y in PENNY.

Awesome find! I would not recommend cleaning it other than letting it dry well and possibly using a toothpick to remove dirt only. Many recommended methods will cause more damage and lead to disappointment. You really don't want to lose any patina it may have.

Assuming Half Cents are 25mm, this must be a one cent.

Looks like a Vicky to me. Found one in W PA last year. Congrats on the copper! They are late 1800’s so not sure if they circulated here as currency or as a foreign coin drop.

Yeap, it's a 1 Penny. Vicky is short for Queen Victoria.
